Nimco Contact Name?

Does anyone have a contact name at NIMCO?  We're getting going on putting a V-730 into the 4107, and it looks like NIMCO may be the best bet. NIMCO was recommended by JLV (RoadrunnerTexas), They list kits on their website.  Back a few decades, we used Muncie, NIMCO, and others as suppliers - but even if I remembered any names, I'm sure they'd be long-retired.

I hate to call any company blind, and just deal with whoever answers the phone -- I want to talk with someone who knows more than I do, not less.

The shop that has the bus also has an 8V71, mated with a V-730, that came out of a Flxible.  It was supposed to go into a 4106, but the guy never paid him.  If the price is right, I may go in that direction, but will probably still need a spacer.  My alternator needs rebuilding, so if this powerplant is complete, it may make economic sense.

Anything else I should know?

Thanks.

I called Nimco this past week and asked for Nick. Was told by someone,
"Nick hasn't worked in in 9 months... big changes around here."

Yes, Nick is gone. No biggie, they are there to sell parts, so someone has filled the void. Arthur, you might be the one to let us know who.

Ask for Jim. He seems like another nice guy.  Tom Y

I just called NIMCO, and spoke with Jim.  Seemed very knowledgeable and helpful - so I second Tom's remark.  Looks like Jim would be the guy to talk to.
