We went ahead and installed the slim sat dish. We have so far enjoyed it. No troubles with rain, etc. It has actually worked for us better than the large dome auto dish we previously had. Even during the ice/snow storm in Ga, there was only one day that we couldnt use it. We took a broom and swiped it off, and we were back in business. I would say anyone that wants to use one due to height restrictions, go for it. Just thought I would let everyone know how we went and how it has worked out.

So glad the new one worked out for you.  I am still waiting for KVH to send back the boards. (3 Weeks) Local dealer went ahead and sent both boards to KVH because neither them or I knew which one was bad.  I can't wait to get them back, I just hope it don't hurt the wallet.  But like they said, Having KVH fix them is cheaper than buying the replacement boards.  That would cost more the buying a new system.

Aaron, glad you are getting it fixed. We should have fixed it when it happened, it was under warranty, but, we were busy working. Buswarrior, it is the A5. It is not the newest model, but the previous one. We bought if from someone on the boards that bought a truck with it, and took it off. We were worried, cause we had heard a lot of bad stuff about the weather affecting them, but, as I said, we have not experienced that, no more so than any dish would be.

Ruthi, I thought you put the slim A7 up front.

Aaron, it is installed on top of the living area. It is the A5, not A7. Hope you are doing better!
