I have an MC-8 sitting at my place that the owner has widened to 102 (as well as adding 30" addtional length at the rear and about 10" to the front). He only widened fron the rear edge of the door and drivers window. There is a 3" taper on each side from that point to the front corner. This allows the OEM windshields to be used. He widened by adding 3" to the frame on each side.  Jack

No, it is the one sitting next to the one I am working on.  I will to get a few photos tomorrow (before our daily rains start).  It is presently a frame with a drive train. No windshields, doors, interior, etc.  Jack

Crown or Gillig buses with pancake engines would be a relatively easy conversion to 102".  Just cut off the bus behind the driver's compartment and have a new box made to your specifications-could be a really neat conversion.  Good Luck, TomC
