While sorting out some stuff in our new storage unit in Yuma, i got to chatting to a couple of guys that were unloading some stuff, ( turns out it was engine parts) into a unit 2 doors down from us. Turns out the guy with the unit is moving from San Diego to Yuma and is a 2 stroke mechanic. ;D  Has mostly done marine work and did not know that there are a fair number of buses with 2 strokes still around. I told him about several of the boards so hopefully we will hear from him in a few days and he can introduce himself. :)

He said he is used to working all over the place including Mexico, ( Cabo for example) but he will not be completely moved until sometime in July.

Update.  Ran into him at the storage unit again. He has most of his stuff here and will be all settled in by the first of the year if not before.  His plan is to do some 2 stroke stuff during the winters and take the summers off. He does not have a shop, will go to where the engine is but only in Yuma. Said he does not want to be gone from home anymore and does not want to get too busy. He may come up to the rally in Quartzsite in Jan. He does not want to spend time on the computer and told me he would like me to act as his go-between. I know that right now he has 3 sets of heads for a 71, about a dozen different turbos, pistons, valves, injectors, etc. and at least one blower that i saw sitting there.  His brother was also there and he has been in the transit end of buses in L.A. for something like 39 years so it sounds like between them both they might know a little about 2 strokes. :)  If anybody is in Yuma and needs work done i can put you in touch with him.
