Bob, it's looking good.

What are you using for your slide sealing?   I have a seal in my forward slide that has a hole in it.  It's going to be a chore getting it replaced.   I called HWH and they want a fortune for it.

just a idea but used black RV  sealant and put Handy wrap over it so it wouldn't stick to bus to patch hole in rubber..you have to look for it (the tear) to find it and it is about the same elasticity when dry...I use a bulb type sealing gasket that has a slot to slide over sheet metal on one side..is steel spring reinforced on inside. got from RV surplus in Elkhart  sold by foot...the Handy wrap will release when it is curred..use wax paper if you preferr.

Pat, I agree you need to get something on the outside before winter sets in. I would use a metal etch primer, then a high hide primer, then a top coat of your favorite color. Of course you need to clean the metal first and each type, steel, stainless, aluminum uses a different dilution of the stuff. Go down to a reputable paint store and ask lots of questions.

I did notice that our blue metallic paint is hotter than the aluminum siding, by about 25 degrees. I'm going to shoot a regular non metallic paint next time.
