I am from California and traveling now if north east Canada.  I would like Luke to look at my stone bennett sifter when I drive home next month.  I have the 730 Alison and it doesn't shft out of reverse all the time.  I can't tell if it is the dash push button or at the transmission.  I dont have his address or phone number but I know he is on the east coast somewhere.  From past posts he sounds like he might be a good person to check it out.

If you get back to the West Coast area, and still need help on the transmission, you might contact Southern Oregon Diesel, at 7157 Hwy 99N, Roseburg, OR.  The owner is (or was a few years ago) David Gregory.  David, and all his staff are VERY knowledgeable about buses including the Allison transmissions.  They do everything including the Spicer to V730 conversions.  Their telephone number was 800755-7634.

Another option would be to contact the nearest Allison dealer to your home.  Just kind of thinking out loud.

Have a safe trip and I don't think you'll have trouble finding someone who can correct this problem for you.
