Here is a u-tube on power treatments and their false claims, I know it is not what you are using, but the rest are similar.  I read in motor trend, where you ask the expert a question article, but could not find it, anyway, Tom said that he has yet to find any additive that performs.  Take it for what it is worth, I am no expert and just passing on what I have read and seen.  If you don't want to watch it, they test 4 power additives and basically they all reduced power by approx. 2%

Detroit explicitly recommends against any aftermarket fuel additives unless you are experiencing gelling.

This is the definitive guide to what fuel, lube oil, filters, and additives you should or should not use in your Detroit two-stroke.  Note that the publication also covers their four-stroke engines, so pay careful attention to which sections and tables you are looking at.
