What am I to do when I already have two Scenicruisers to work on and this pops up down the street(i.e. 20 Miles from home).  A true Bus nut would think, how can I add this to the uncompleted bus fleet with out the wife finding out..

As always, I do not have a thing to do with this seller, My brother found this listing after seeing it at a business he stopped by.

That is a nice looking bus, but . . . .

(Broken Arrow) is an accurate, concise description.

"Needs a rear end & head gasket" - that tells me that to put it back on the road it will cost enough to make the $2000 selling price irrelevant.

Dallas you are correct it's the same MC-7 needs a 3rd member and engine O/H due to water and or antifreeze in the crankcase.
If it were me I would run the other way real fast. :P

But it is soooo close and soooo cheap........ maybe use it for parts or parting out or an extra storage shed for bus parts or a greenhouse  ;)

Well, it does say $2000 or make offer. I would try $1000.  If they want it out of there and nobody else is interested you might get it for that. ;D
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

That is the bus Bryan and I messed with. The pumpkin is in the middle bay drivers sidewith a few teeth off the ring gear. I wanted the stainless skins for my bus but they are all dented. I think it also needs a clutch and throw out bearing. The price was $1500.00 with 2 new 4 D starting batts. It might have enough parts to pay for itself if you could get it for around $800.00. You can get a rear end from Sam in Kansas or Bryan knows a guy there in Tulsa with one for $700.00 however that one will not fit. Good Luck
