We are leaving this morning to go up and visit my son and daughter in law and during the bus check I noticed that the indicators on the dash for the turn signals are very dim and they don"t  blink.

Ours is a very simple system. 12 volts in to the flasher then to switch then to lights. It's an old Silversides so it"s nothing complicated. Where should I look first?

Check your ground maybe. They have a tendency to harbor gremlins at the most inopportune time. ;) It might also be the flasher. I just repalced one on my Lincoln, indicator lights would stay on and no flash. About 6 bucks at Pep Boys.

Well I found the culprit.
Seems like with all of the rain we have been getting some of it got into the window track and managed to fill up the flasher with water. With my limited knowledge of electricity even I know that going to make for some bad results.

Replaced the flasher and all is well.

Thank you
