Has anyone used the double sided reflective barrier on their ceiling before attaching your ceiling materials? I am not talking about the bubble wrap just the simple two sided reflective barrier.

I would like people's opinions of the benefits!

Thanks

This is going to be placed directly over the original ceiling materials. No effort was made to remove the original ceiling material and cannot be removed at this point.

can"t see a up side to this application..cost vs. returns...you already have alum sheet on ceiling..would not add insulation...and can't add reflection..

Hi Grant,

The stuff has an insulation value but, the reflective part of it is useless if you cover it up.

I did use it as a second layer of insulation in my bus. "see pic" Make sure you use the "FBBF" which

means, "Foil-Bubble-Bubble-Foil" There are alot of suppliers selling "FBF" which has very little insulation value.

Doesn't the FBF require an air space to be effective?
