Need Data Sheets For CAT 3208 and 3408

Jim- Actual truck version of the 3408 weight is more like 3,300lbs-or about the same as the 12V-71N.  The marine version always has heavy cast iron water jacketed exhaust manifolds and heavy heat exchanger. On a boat that isn't that critical, but on a truck it is.  The Cat 1693 was not far behind at 3,200lbs, my 3406B mechanical at 2,900lbs, the Cummins NTC/N14 at around 2,800lbs, Series 60 at 2,700lbs, 8V-92TA at 2,450lbs., 8V-71N at 2,325lb, 6V-92TA and Cummins ISM at the 2,000lb mark, Detroit 6V-53 at 1,850lb, and the Cat 3208 around 1,600lbs.  Good Luck, TomC
