vinyl on windshields?

You peaked my interest in thermodynamics. Would a blacked out windshield transmit more heat to the interior than say a transparent one which will allow the rays to pass and be absorbed within the interior.   

You are correct I do not touch the blk as mine is behind the front cabinets which contain electrical panels on left, empty cabinet with carpet backing on right.

Some thing to ponder and chat with my engineer friends.
