2009 Bus-Nutz Gathering - Now History!

Sunday about noon the Annual 2009 Bus-Nutz Gathering came to a close.  A sorta sad but joyful close.  Sad, in the fact that it was back to the daily grind (what ever yours is) and Joyful in the fact that they enjoyed the following:

#1 New friendships were started that will continue to grow with time.

#2 We had visitors and dreamers, not yet Bus-Nuts, but the bug has bitten and many good thoughts were planted in fertile brain matter.  Remember when U were bitten with the Bus-Nuts fever, well they have been bitten – and bitten well.  I'd bet good money that they are seeing buses and motor homes and the possibilities of what they can do.  They R overwhelmed I am certain. They will never be the same, so sorry!  LOL, LOL!.

#3 Old acquaintances were renewed and good quality time was spent together and friendships deepened and renewed.

#4 Visits from Bus-Nutz whose rigs were at home under construction/updating and they decided to make it a day trip and it was great 2 C them. [Many, Many Thanks Eily – It has a new home in our Eagle].

#5 A Food Feast!!!!!  If U went away hungry then it is your fault.  Thanks Darrell for the sausages and thanks to all who supplied the side dishes. And Yes, 4 those who have attended in the past we again had NC East Coast BBQ

#6 A special thanks 2 Earl & Vicki Smith, their 1st Bus-Nuts Gathering, but they also provided us with a TERRIFFIC Southern Gospel Singing Concert.  They R 2 of the 3 that make up the Trio "Journey 'N Faith" [Jimmy Wrenns makes up the rest of the trio, Diane, his wife was there also]. If U missed the 2009 Gathering then check the next paragraph out carefully and make your plans to attend the 2010 version.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW for the 2010 Bus-Nuts Gathering.  It will take place May 21-23, 2010 @ the Fayetteville/Wade KOA Kampground {I-95 @ Exit 61}. We booked next years Gathering as we left Sunday.  U can make your reservations any time now. We reserved only 15 sites so U might want to take appropriate action and not get left out.
Go ahead and do it now and U R committed.

To my knowledge all arrived home safely.  The Spurlocks, Herb & Deloris – parked next to us in the Class C motor home, lost a inside rear dually and the road service was 3 hrs in getting them back on the road.  All is well.

On behalf of Frances and I we would just like 4 each of U to know how much we appreciate all U did to make the 2009 Bus-Nuts Gathering the big success it was.  Thank U – U R definitely a wonderful group of people.  Thanks 4 your friendship-U R TOPS!!!!!!

Phil, Thanks for asking. The pictures taken are being compiled as this is taking place we will be getting them to Gary La Bombard "The Rustless Money Pit". 

He has gracely offered to post them on his web site and possibly U tube them as well.  He has done this in the past and its a bit over my head right now.
