Removing Resealing Tranny/ Oil Cooler, MC 9 Auto

Has anyone removed the tranny/oil cooler from an MC 9 automatic ?  There is a lot of frame stuff in the way.  I have a pretty good sized oil leak coming from the tranny cooler side.  Any advice, tips, hints would be appreciated.

Looks like a nasty job.
