if you're in a bus wrecking yard and want a superb 12 volt water pump, walk
toward the rear of a fishbowl about 3/4 of the way back, look under the seats
on the left hand side and there is a metal cover.Behind that is a 12 volt brass
impeller type water pump with 1 1/2"  intake and output  designed to move
coolant to the front of the bus. These are high quality, and built like a house
pressure system pump. They have scads of uses, and can be hooked up with
a pressure switch.I bought one for $10.00 , and the quality is equal to a $200.00
pump.

Don't have any bus wrecking yards around here, but I'd sure like to get a couple, espcially at that price.

Do you do any scavenging for busnut friends... ol buddy, ol pal?   ;) ;)

Craig,
Check out Red river Stages in Moorhead.
Or call Rodney Monk in Fargo. 701.232.8010
It's amazing the stuff he can come up with.
Another place to check is Hazers Wrecking In Fargo. But I'd check with Rodney (Ron) first, he can get it cheaper from them than you can.
How about out tward Rogers, Mn?
Lot's of trucks and buses and stuf in the Wrecking Yard there.

Good Luck,
Dallas

What wrecking yard in Rogers?  Do you mean Glenn's?  That's the only place I know of that parts out trucks, and they have a minimum pull charge of something like $25.

I live about 7 miles from there.

Gumpy,
Yep,
I was refering to Glenns.
I haven't been there in a few years, but use to buy a lot of stuff from them.

School buses also have pumps to push the hot water from the front to the heater in the rear
