I want to thank all servicemen and servicewomen (past and present) for their sacrifices and wish them a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.  Thank you for your time, talents and your willingness to defend the cause of liberty. It is that liberty that allows me and many others to enjoy this crazy and very rewarding hobby.

I remember one christmas years ago on the other side of the world, we had been in a firefight off and on for most of the night and well into christmas day, the most important thing i was carrying at that time was a wrapped up turkey sandwich from mess at about noon we had a lag in the fun, I laid back in my mud puddle and ate it, that was my christmas celebration and special dinner and later on when they got us off that hill, thats what I remembered most, and now years later, it's what I still remember, how quiet it was then and how good it tasted.  Frankly, I think it's all I want to remember. lol  Merry christmas to whoever you are in what ever part of the world, that uniform your wearing is special, it's the badge of courage that sets you apart as the standard bearer, the one that protects us as we sit down and enjoy the quiet and the special meals today, and i thank you for doing it.
