Let me say this right up front, I am not starting this thread to bash MAK or BC Mag.

Having said that, I really need a reality check here.  In the Nov. issue there is an article about installing H2O based hydrogen generating cells in a motorhome to yield what is implied as significantly better mileage.  Another implication is that this a quickly spreading grass roots phenomenon.

The website (http://www.hhowater4gas.com/) is quite interesting.  One claim is doubled mileage (61 MPG) in a Toyota.  Looks like they really want you to buy their manuals for about a C note.

I have been know to be gullible, but I can not in my wildest dream imagine that this kind of system would generate anywhere near enough hydrogen to make any sort of "improvement" in even the smallest of engines.

Lets' suppose that you could generate a consistent, long term, supply of hydrogen; I am not sure how you would regulate the flow into the engine.  If you pass that test, I would be very concerned about damage to the engine.

What am I missing here?

Not your typical Myers/Conrad/Galey article.

Jim,

this article was already discussed ad nauseum on nov 13, 14 in 2 separate threads, and hydrogen as a fuel in about 5 or 6 others that i found over the past year.

i think the long and short of the concensus agrees with you.  ;D

To tie things together, here are the two threads Kyle mentioned:

Jim, here's probably the best independent real world info done by PM - they're promising a future dyno test - No big hurry as they know what the results will be -
