Any one out there know how to install power steering on a 1948 Silversides?

There was a 1948 silversides with a DDEC 6-71 AND power steering at the last non-rally! - - A very nicely done installation.
He said you had to use a special gearbox (from a certain Kenworth, I think) & you have to 'customize' the pitman arm.

The author of this awesome bus knows his stuff, he is:

Maybe you two can help each other out.    ;D

Wow Kyle, that's a great lead. I will drop him a note and see if he can help in my quest.

Thanks a whole bunch.

You will like the people at Russels.  His 6/71 is the only one that comes close to sounding as good as yours. His work on it is just something to see.

Thanks for all the nice words folks. It feels fantastic to get your energy back, and get going again.

Thanks to those that turned me on to Gene Russell. He and I spoke on the phone this afternoon at great length. He said he will do the power steering on our bus, we are aiming towards Feb or March, that's when he slows down for the season. Besides I need to start saving some money.

I'll keep you all posted as to how that goes.
