Need transmission help

I have a 1961 PD4106 and if I try to shift to fast or don't do a square shift pattern, I will hang up in 3rd.   All I have to do is put the shift lever back in 3rd and it shifts ok.   I find out it is in 3rd when I release the clutch to double clutch to 2nd.   Only happened twice.

It WILL happen again, count on it!

Sometimes I can get mine into neutral by trying every gear but it is very frustrating to find yourself in third gear at a stop!

Mine usually sticks when I carelessly try to shift without pushing the clutch all the way in or try to take it out of gear too fast when coming to a stop.
