for all of you that have offered your help it was needed and thankfull, i did some research and saw the 654 allison is pretty much the same as the 644, so i found a nos flexplate assembly for a 671 with a 654 , took the hub adapter off the unit and then had it machined to the thickness  needed so the starter would engage, worked out great i bouht the flexplate for 200.00 and paid the machine shop 60.00 , bot i have learned so much, but without all your help i could have not figured out what to do and who to talk to, will be borrowing a friends forklift this weekend and install the beast, now i have to get the turbo set up to fit and look correct, good thing winters coming, ken 67mci 5a
