Does anyone have part numbers for inner and outer front bearings and races and inner oil seal for a GMC 5307 (1982) Fishbowl?

I would like to order them in advance before I tear it apart.
I have the maintenance manual, but it does not list part numbers.

Thanks,
Mike.

sorry don;t have them for you.

if you call Luke at US COach he will be able to look them up and get them for you.

I might suggest you buy the other BOOK for your bus the parts book, it is as good as a reference as the maint manual as it is filled with exploded views of assemblies

Hi Mike  When I go to the shop I have a set of inner and outer bearings from a 77 5307 (parts bus) that I could give you the bearing # that you could cross reference locally.  The seal #  is not handy but I'll see if I can dig it up .

Thanks Paso, that would be great.

I'd hate to bother Luke at work when I'd be buying the bearings locally here in Canada.

I could only get the outer #'s as the inners are left in the hub at a differant location   Timpkin # 557-S

NAPA have heavy truck & bus parts. They may already have parts number there. Call them or wait until you have them out to bring or write the number. They will get for you. They deal with class 8 truck & bus mechanic & repair shops.

I wouldn't order before inspection so you won't get the wrong parts or something difference than OEM.

Again...you may end up waiting for extra parts which it can be order the first time but you didn't know.

as a trucker [with a T ] and a busnut, take all parts with you when buying, it saves the parts guys a lot of trouble!
and do not let them sell you National seals.
I did a brake job on my truck in Feb. and have now changed/replaced all NATIONAL seals because of failure-- one at a time what a pain in the butt!!
I would suggest  CR  brand of seal
also if you are near big truck dealerships [Freightliner-Mack-Peterbilt-Volvo-International ]check their parts dept. for pricing -- in my area they are much cheaper than NAPA or any other parts specific stores

ps where in Canada are you -- Langley, BC for me

Big Transit here in Toronto still running GM New Looks.

MCI and Prevost both support these transit parts.
