Also look at Bead Holding Devise # 31710 and # 31810 Wheel Protector for aluminum rim as well painted ones.

You may think you can make one of Flexor steel bar to lift wheel but you can't beat drop-forge steel for toughness from yielding out of shape.

I do not know yet how much $$ but it will pay for it self from back injury.

I think this is one of much needed tool such as IR temperature gun to keep in bus at all time.

We can make with Flexor steel rod about 60" long x whatever dia. hole of rim minus 1/8" smaller and deburr both ends.
All Flexor stock has dull red paint marking.

About Bead Holder...if you have a plasma cutter, you can make them too. Make 2 pieces out of ½" x 2" x 2" mild steel bar stock. The Lord willing I will have the drawing for the cut-out to post soon as it ready.

It cost must less but should do the trick.
