Bay doors between the MCI 8 and MCI 9

Are the bay doors between the MCI 8 and MCI 9 the same?

Well, darn... good question...

Am i remembering this right?

The springs that take the weight are strung differently, the '8s are mounted vertically down the bulkhead wall, the '9s are mounted horizontally against the utility channel.

But are the bay doors the same size?
