Sure you are!!!!!!!!!!!! As long as you didn't get the idea from someone else. There are hundreds of times I thought of something and found out it was already done. It doesn't mean you didn't "think of it", just not first!  ;)

Bob,

"There Is Nothing New Under The Sun"

(Ecclesiastes 1:9-14 NIV) What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. {10} Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time. {11} There is no remembrance of men of old, and even those who are yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow. {12} I, the Teacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem. {13} I devoted myself to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under heaven. What a heavy burden God has laid on men! {14} I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

A friend with a 4106 put a dog crate in the bay with a "tunnel" made from hardware cloth that connects from the crate to an opening in the bus interior floor so their cat can come  go as it pleases. When camped, during the day they leave the bay door open and tha cat seems to enjoying laying in the crate and watching all the activity.  (I think that is where the litter pan is but I am not sure)  Jack

Not as creative as I thought I was according to BK's post.

My original thought was a hole in the floor opening into a rollout tray in one of the bays but I gave up on that plan because the only bay that really worked was the front bay and that is presently a full pass through bay.  Didn't want to give up that much space at one end of that useful a storage spot.

I didn't mean to imply that it wasn't creative at all BOB. I just merely pointed out I'd seen them b4 and thought that's what it might be off the bat, but decided "naw that's too easy, he said we'd never figure it out!" So I got all bambuzelled trying to come up with some off the wall idea that it coulda/woulda been and then b4 I came up with any it was already disclosed!
Yes you are indeed inovative after all wasn't the origin of this post about your Futon solution? Keep think'n outside the box! FWIW ;D  BK  ;D

We have a winner folks - very good.

Lagavullin at my bus for Nusa.  We'll be in Q at the end of Jan & early Feb and then probably working our way up the left coast in late Feb & March.  Let me know where to bring the scotch.

Thanks, I'm still a wannabe so far as buses go, but I know my cats. As a child my dad built a very similar looking catdoor connecting the kitchen to the basement stairs via a tunnel in the hallway closet. I'm in the San Diego area.

San Diego isn't that far from Q but I have that solemn vow never to drive through L.A. to deal with.  We'll see.

And BK don't sweat my whining about not being creative.  I wasn't slamming your post by any stretch and besides, I've been called a lot worse than non-creative in my life.
