I've tried calling, but my cell connection at thiscampground is really iffy........ Cingular advertises "More Bars in More Places"

NOT.

The Suncom and Alltel people are the only ones getting more than one bar here! 

Unless of course, Cingular is refering to the watering holes for the employees! 

glad you had a safe trip, as long as you didn't bring Gremlins home with you.

Dallas, it may not be worth it for a brief stay, but I purchased an exterior cell phone antenna. Mine is not the amplified type. But helps out alot when traveling. Especially with the computer, more signal seems to mean more speed!

This is an older site, so prices are outdated There are many types available so look around a bit if interested. I think they may even sell them at truck stops.

I'll check into it.

We looked at a cellular repeater, with a 60db gain, but they wanted on the order of $400! I quit looking after that.

If we could even gain a little bit, we'd have a good connection.
