After being with Progressive since 1994 first with my AMGeneral bus conversion and now with my Kenworth truck conversion. Progressive has deemed my truck conversion home made and not insurable. What other insurance company can I call that has conversion insurance? Thank you! TomC

You get a lot better deal when you cover everything under 1 carrier ,Progressive is nuts  their prices are never consistent. My 1st bill on our CC was $8000.00 from Progressive,State Farm gave me more coverage for $2000.00 a year

Sorry to hear Tom. Hope it isn't a new internal underwriting policy with Progressive and DIY conversions. Good luck.

I think all insurance companies are looking closer at the DYI conversions, some DYI are better than factory conversions IMO some not so good. You read it all the time on F/B where Progressive has dropped coverage for the DYI conversions
