We used laundromat both past summers. Wife would walk in and check out. If passed muster, ok. Once a week, and 1 1/2 hours start to finished and folded, about 20 dollars per 3 loads.

That's the biggest advantage to a laundromat - in/out in an hour and a few bucks. That's how I rolled with the 5C. I've come to appreciate the on-board machine, tho, the convenience is compelling.

FWIW & HTH. . .  ;)

Also, back in the day I'd drop off my laundry to the lady in the laundromat and pick it up a couple hours later all done. Was well worth the pittance she charged and she even provided the detergent. Did that several places so I know it wasn't just a local thing. Is that still common? I wouldn't know but I'd think so.

But once I got a washer and drier I quit doing that. Why I don't know, maybe something about loading dirty laundry in the car to go for a drive.
