I was reading the orders for  MCI buses last night man those people sell a lot of buses even the electric models more by far than all others combined ,Volvo seems to be pushing their 9700 bus more than they do the Prevosts now

It is obvious that someone at Volvo is desperately looking for worldwide synergies, they would like nothing better than to have a single body style across markets.

They can keep their roof mounted mirrors on some other continent, thank you...

VanHool has been learning a lot in North America, their newer buses have many, many improvements, learned from hard running in North America.

Some legitimate competition keeps the breeds strong...

Can you just imagine the crap we would be driving, if the Big Three had nobody else in the market to nudge them along?

While it would be rather foolish, I wouldn't be surprised if they drop the PREVOST name and rename the X3 and H3 VOLVO. For better of worse, people do get stuck on name brands even if the product itself would remain unchanged.
