Found it this weekend going to a garage sale. Neighbors all say an old guy had it. He died. His  house and the bus have been abandoned for years. The neighbor told me I could look at it and the front door was open. The fuel tank is missing and electrical compartment is a wreck. Does anyone recognize it? Lots of NASCAR decals if that helps. My spouse is a Realtor and looked up the property. I expected the county had it for lack of taxes paid, but it is owned by to guys. If last names Mealer or Deal ring a bell, let me know. Not guessing it is a "rescue" candidate but if someone knows the offspring we might get some parts for our members. Most of the windows are not broken. I do not know what engine it has but sure 12 of you do right away. I have more pictures and can take more if needed. PM me if you think you know it and therefore maybe know the family. We'd have better odds of " Go ahead, take what you want". Than "Get out of here Yankee".

So does it have the part oldbusman needs in Florida? And....how do I get it out. My wife will hold my phone on facetime and you and luvrbus and bus warrior can talk me through it. It is not like heart surgery.....right?

No it doesn't have the part he needs. Wonder even if it is a Detroit. Doesn't look like one.

Back when I was a kid my dad had a couple CMC model 9500 single axle tractors with the Toro-Flow DH637 in them. I think the trucks were 1966's. He bought them new. Seemed like they had a lot of head gasket issues. Couple updates on gaskets and one of them got ran too long by a driver with the head gasket out and ruin the block also that truck ended up with a 671 in it and a rear end change to get the speed right. The rest of them got traded off. In later years {70's} a couple dirt moving guys in my area put the  V-6 models in pickups and they seemed to hold up ok in pickups.
