Tools -- SAE or Metric

Hello all,

As you can see by my signature, I'm in Europe now.  Before my wife and I moved here 8 years ago we sold everything but 3 suitcases worth of stuff.  That included my tools.

I had a very nice set of tools and since we had Japanese, and German cars and an F-350 truck, I had both SAE and Metric.  The truck was a real pain since it was was both.

So, when considering tools and most likely an MCI bus, but maybe a Prevost, will it be necessary to have both SAE and Metric.

Of coarse my tool purchases will be gradual and ever growing, but wondering where would be the best place to start.
