What's the best Fuel pump for an easy bleeder on an 8v71? (GMCP8M4905)

I've been sitting for too long and have been  having  hell of a time getting it primed.

Also, another bus not has suggested using a garden sprayer plugged into the filter bleed plug.

Any thoughts?

Depends on where your fuel pump is. I have seen people dismount the engine pump and then use a drill to drive the pump to check flow.

What ever you do don't attempt to pressurize the fuel tank LOL!

I bought a 24 volt Airtex inline fuel pump. Draws through primary filter and sends fuel to fuel pump. fuel pump sends it to secondary filter, then to engine. With engine normally running, fuel will flow through inline pump without it running. Just need an on off switch to run it when needed.

That's how our aux electric fuel pump is set up. It was a whopping $10.50 on Amazon, Chinese of coarse. Been four years issue free. 12VDC
