Detroit Diesel Mechanic needed in San Diego Area

I visited an elderly woman in Alpine, CA yesterday that has a 1962 Eagle for sale.  I believe it has an 8V71 motor in it.  Her husband almost finished converting it 10 years ago, just before he passed away.  The conversion is a very nice job and everything in there is brand new.

The problem is that it has two 8D batteries in the engine bay and two more in a bus bay, but the bus has not been started in 10 years, since his passing. I am sure they are no longer any good, but they may still take a charge. Not sure.  There is no power where her bus is located, but it does have a generator that I believe ran when parked. So a super charger may bring them back to life long enuf to charge them up quickly.

Is there anyone in the area that can go look at her bus and if necessary, pick up two batteries for her, used would probably be fine and start her bus to ensure it still runs.  She will pay for the batteries.

She wants to sell the bus and I told her she will get more money for it if we can say it runs.

She is a sweet lady and I would like to help her out. Of course, she should have sold it right after he passed, but she did not have it in her heart to sell it after her husband put so much work into it.

Please contact me if you may be able to help her out for a nominal fee. I don't want to just call any diesel mechanic. I would like to find one that cares about old buses and wants to help out an older woman without a lot of money.

Luis looked at it but he does not want to work on getting it started.  He is a driver, not a mechanic.
