I just removed my exhaust as the flex joint is done and as I pulled it out it looks like it is time for a new muffler as well . I looked on the donaldson exhaust site and with the size of the old muffler I found 2 that are the same size

one is # m120108 and the other is m120225

I want to make sure there is enough flow so the cat 3406e is not restricted

any help would be appreciated

Hey Dave,
Replaced ours with a Donaldson #m-120131, seemed to be a perfect replacement,  $294.  Did the elbow at the same time. That was a couple of years ago I guess now.

Use the M120225-flows more.

If you can't find a Donaldson, try a Nelson 86147M. Comparable to the M120225.
Fun fact ... Nelson Global bought out Donaldson Exhaust division.
