Intake/Exhaust plumbing for 8v92 into MCI 9 repower

Hey all,

I purchased an 8V92 out of a 102 and the air cleaner assembly is totally different than my 9. Can I use my 8V71 air cleaner assembly and retrofit the intake/exhaust plumbing that came from the 102??

Or do I have to find a junked 9 that had the 8V92 in it ?

The 8v71 only uses a 900 cfm air cleaner the 8v92 will take a plus 1500 cfm system
