       Probably, for many people, there are two kinds of buses, school buses and Greyhounds; out motto - "if it's not yellow, it's a Greyhound".  And I wanna see how getting what she put into it is works out for her.

Oh how true with that. Most of us bus nuts in many ways roll our eyes. If I see an MCI J4500 while with a non bus person I'll say...look at that pretty blue J4500 or if it's a PREVOST that H3-45.
Then I can really get them if it's a skoolie those brats screaming out the window in the BLUEBIRD VISION,THOMAS C2, or IC CE.
Transit are a bit harder but we have 100% NEW FLYER in Milwaukee County.

She wants 149k for it? Good luck with that

Oh dear.   Why would she pay $7K for a 1966 Fishbowl, and why buy a transit bus 3000 miles from where you are?   It's a nice looking interior, but I'm not seeing $125K there, not even close.   If she thinks she can get $150K out of it, I want whatever she's smoking.   Meanwhile, back on planet Earth . . .

Decent job.  I'll give her $15K and use it for what its worth, a guest room in the back forty.

I don't know, but if you call your bus a "tiny home" it's worth ten times more, and no one will bother to check the date code on the tires. Seems like a win-win situation for us bus tiny home owners.

Reminds me of my Mother .If the bus had a "flat"front it was a "Trailways" bus .

Tiny Homes are expensive, because they are saving the planet.
And anything that helps save the Planet is Expensive.

And apparently the more you spend, the more intrinsic personal credit you get from the Planet for saving it!

I am not really motivated to save the planet as much as conserving green rectangular certificates bearing dead peoples pictures---
-----Which is why I want to build my own tiny house.

So the fishbowls must big huge because by her math 8 ft x 40 ft is 400 Sq/ft? maybe that's why it is so expensive. Or maybe its only 35 ft?
She is from Manhattan also and in Finance in NYC. So the primer under that fancy paint job must be gold leaf...
Must of had the engine rebuilt as well as the differential and the transmission.

Original Cost of Fishbowl = 7K
Lets see stretched to make it 400 SQ/ft= 10,000
Engine rebuild = $38,000
Tranny rebuild= $21,000
Differential removal and rebuild and re install= 18,000
Interior remodel and materials= 20,000
New Tires =$5,000
other things=$8,000
Commission =$5,000

Total= $132000.00
That must be it...
