Radiator sight glass

I know this has been covered be fore ,but I'll be danged if I can find it. Where does the anti freeze need to be on the sight glass?? I/2 way up.1/4 way up 3/4 way up or should the sight glass be completely  covered??? Yes I know !! Another  amateur !!
