Where do these wires go?

1989 MCI 96A3 should be the same for the 102A, B and C as well.

On the drivers side front, what would be considered the A pillar there is a bundle of about 15 black, probably 14 gauge wires running down inside of it, most of these wires were for the interior florescent lighting when it was a seated coach.

I am trying to remove these wires as they are no longer needed.

The wires disappear into the front corner of the dash near the windshield and I cannot find where they go from there.

I have pulled most of the dash out looking, looked underneath in the spare tire area, looked in the wire panel area, nothing seems to be this bundle of wires, I thought they would go to the panel to the right of the dash where the switches for the lighting are located, the wiring connecting to the switches is white and a much lighter gauge.

Anyone addressed this before?

They look to go somewhere in front of the dash.

What am I missing here?

I could just cut them off tape them and stick them back in the pillar, but that is not the right way to do it.

On my MC-9 they go to the electrical box under the driver side window accessed from the outside.

I don't think it is necessary to remove the front panel. I was able to pull them out one at a
time.

John, I will give it a try, don't want to remove the front skin if I don't have to.

I think Craig needed to fix some corrosion issues when he had those panels off. I could be wrong but think I read that in his blog. I was able to get mine out but had to pull hard.  Nothing comes easy when working on a bus LOL.

John is right, regarding the corrosion issues. However, the main problem with that bundle is they were taped when the harness was built and then installed prior to the front panel going on, so pulling individual wires, as John said, is very difficult. Not impossible, but very difficult.

Some of the wires are to the clearance lamps ....
