I'm trying to locate a 1965 converted GMC 4104 coach-PD 4104 5037. Please let me know if you have any idea of its whereabouts. Thanks so much.

I might be wrong, but I don't think they made 4104's in 1965.  That would have been a 4106.

The serial number is a 4104, though.

I think what he means is that the coach was converted in 1965.  This same request has been made on Facebook with more information about the coach.

The coach wasn't stolen or anything like that.  It was sold out of the family and a family member would like to see it again. This is a very, very unique 4104. If you ever saw this coach you wouldn't forget it. It has a side door in the center on the right side like a traditional motor home. The roof pops up top center like on the old Volkswagen Vanagans.

I have photos of coach, they are in wrong format to post here.

With those modifications it's highly possible that it has ended up in a scrap yard by now.
Because #1) if it was still being used SOMEONE would have seen it and shared it being that unique.
#2) IF those modifications were not done correctly by someone understanding the design/structure of the coach, it could have very seriously limited it's life span.
