Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for photos of Greyhound 2234, which was an MCI 102-A3 that was delivered in December 1988 and served until probably 1991. Does anyone know of a thorough slide collector who might have a shot of it? I'll either buy the original or happily take a scan.

Thanks!

The build sheet says it was delivered to Greyhound Lines, Inc. on December 28, 1988.  I found an all-time Greyhound roster online that says most of the series was sold by 1991. This coach went to Susquehanna Trailways around that time and was their 76. It was then transferred to Catawese Coach Lines as their 30.

Do you guys have a standard source for builder's photos or roster shots? I'm more of a railroad buff and know where to find them in that hobby, but I'm not as experienced researching buses.

Hello HB16

The busnut hobby is not as devilishly detailed as the train spotters are, and far fewer on the ground.

And in the same way that an avid rail fan does not own a train, an avid busnut likely does not own a bus either.

That being said, the trick is to punch through the noise, and see if there is a busnut with pictures in the locale of the coach's operating region.

Ask around the depot, everyone knows the busnuts with the cameras, if they are around.

happy coaching!

Thanks for your reply. I have gotten the impression that the bus community is not as meticulous as the railroads buffs in terms of photo rosters, dispositions, and so forth. I'll do some talking on the ground and create some eBay alerts, I guess. Thanks again.
