North to Alaska - Eastern or Western route going north?

Fuel stop at Winnipeg, for sure.   Fuel is always cheaper there than Brandon.  There's a real nice free overnight site on west side of Brandon, just north of #1 Highway. High speed internet too!  Just email us, and we can send directions.

Good tip for sure - although we will likely be entering into Canada much further west in the Idaho/Western Montana area.

Anybody coming up Hwy 2 toward Calgary AB is welcome to stop for a night or two on the farm. Lots of room to park. 10 minutes East of High River AB. Call me 250-342-five three zero three or email (address in my profile).

LOL.  I can attest to that advertisement. That spot may be the best overnight spot on the whole trip.
