Just wrapped up a road trip.  Burned 401 gallons of diesel. Traversed 2790 miles and ran the generator for 83 hours.  Over all in the case of the bus it was an uneventful trip.  The L10 and ZF worked flawlessly.  Thank you Gary and Dan from B&B coachworks.  The electric system kept us comfortable even in the hot and muggy midwestern weather.  Thank you Wrico for the help in the design and setup. There are of course all the minor things that pop up and need to be taken care of such as drawers that open too easily while driving and the drinking water dispenser that does not stay plugged in or the satellite dome that stops working with too much rain. Over all it was an excellent trip and I have included a picture of the bus parked by the Mississippi River in Muscatine IA.

Great looking coach!  Glad all the majors worked well for you.  I can't seem to get my arse out of Ca though I'd sure love to follow your tracks.  Jack

We have followed US 54 and US 20 just to see the small towns.  We find obscure RV parks and lots of small towns. We have discovered that Missouri is not as agreeable as we might like.  It is however in the way between Albuquerque and Davenport Ia.  The two major points on our trip.   ;D :'(

Did you mean Van at B&B Coach, instead of Dan. Or is there a Dan there now?

Van is there now and I have met Van.  This was Pre Van.  And I think there was a Joe as well. I used to call Dan and Gary when I took the bus on the road and thank them for the work they did.  Gotta love a good running bus.
