2ton is not that big. Could just use a normal car type A/C compressor. Good Luck, TomC

Tom is correct. I was thinking about using the GM A6 at one time for my 4104. Here's some info.

Dear Tom,

Thanks so much for writing.

I went to this place (below) yesterday and talked to Joe. Very helpful.

These guys are great! They love a challenge and like installing A/C on weird vehicles.

We landed on a Seltec Valeo TM31 High Capacity Heavy Duty 10 Cylinder Twin "V" Belt Driven Compressor. Visit: http://www.valeocompressors.com/en/tm31

It will handle 6000 rpm. I'll have to do some math to figure out the pulley configuration. If I run it at 5000 @ max engine rpm of 2100), the low end will be 3400 @ engine rpm of 500). That should still cool nicely and I wont have to use a generator.

That's a good choice. Think of it as a modernized GM A-6 compressor. It'll git'r dun. Good Luck, TomC
