The Harry Potter bus was/is real

Jeremy
A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

Who can even tell nowadays what photo's are real but it's still fun to speculate. Yes, it does look like the Potter bus is real. I only saw one Harry Potter movie because I was on ironically on a bus and that's what the tour director put in the DVD player. The bus I saw on the film looked to be computer generated but then again, maybe they crafted one for publicity reasons. Where can they even drive something that high other than a big lot with nothing overhead?

Oh no, that's gotta be real; you saw it on the internet. They built it to petition the government  to raise bridge clearances. Greyhound did it many years ago to allow 40 foot buses on the road.

That's true it's got to be true if it's on the internet. Elvis was sighted driving the Potter bus since he lives in the UK now. :)

Fake, but there's a few tells looking closely.

Reflection in windows on side, light through windshield in front.

But if it was real, it would need one heck of an outrigger when it turned corners, or everyone moved to one side to gawk.

Overhead clearance shouldn't be a problem... Just gently nudge the steering wheel in either direction - while traveling over 35 mph - and you're guaranteed to clear those pesky low-hanging bridge overpasses - 'cause you'll be sliding under on your side!  ;D

Well I ain't gonna say it ain't a photo-shop job because it COULD be.
But FL Cliff the light yer pointing on in the lower level side windows could be reflection in the tilted windows.

Also these days you never know what kind of "freaky publicity prop" somebody will build out of left overs sitting around!
;D  BK  ;D

There are any number of old skoolies that have been repainted in the likeness of the Partridge Family bus. When in fact the original bus was scrapped a long time ago after sitting since that show went out of production. Unless there is some of certificate of authenticity that can be accurately verified, either believe whatever you want or be skeptical.

OK BK,

Now that you "called me out", I did a little research!

I can find lots of pictures of the same Triple Decker buses, but all the so called quads and above, only the "one' picture of the Photoshopped version.

An engineering marvel this grand would be well documented.....I rest my case... ;D :P
