Barn Owl

I'm back.....I have missed being active on the board. I had a chance to pick up some extra work over the past few months and I took it. The most I have been able to do is catch a peek once in a while during a break. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

BarnOwl,

Welcome Back!

If it wasn't for that "Work Thing" I am sure I would be done wth my conversion.

Of course without the work I couldn't afford it,  Hmmmmm, this is going nowhere is it! :P

Glad to see you back........

Barn Owl,

It's bad to have to work for a living.  Some folks on this board have liberated themselves from that.

But, glad to have you back.

Barn Owl,
Glad to have you back,  it's nice to be retired, to get up after the sun gets up instead of before.  After working for 40 yrs, it"s a pleasure to work on my bus instead of having to work for someone else.  Good luck on your conversion.

Hi yo silver

Hey, Barnowl:  I wondered where you were!  Good to see that you're back on the board.  Glad you were able to take advantage  of an opportunity to make some extra FUEL MONEY.  Had a nice conversation with your dad last week.  Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving holiday.  Bring that bus on down when you can.

I spend too much time while at work wishing I was retired. Then I get around my grandfather and his buddies and all they talk about are the good old days when they worked on the railroad. What's up with that? You want to retire, and then when you do, you wish you could go back? I don't want to wish my life away to retirement, but I would settle for independently wealthy. Then I could just act retired. With six children, the youngest only three, the option of not going to work is a long ways away for me. My oldest (sixteen) just completed her first semester of collage. It didn't take but writing one check to realize that when all the kids graduate I could have bought a fleet of buses. I wouldn't change it for the world though.

Dennis, my father told me he talked with you. When the holidays are behind us we will make a trip out to see you with the bus. We need to test your bus parking spot.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
