Air bags

I am fixing up a 95 Prevost and when we leave it sit for a while, it leans to the drivers side like the air is coming out of the airbags when the bus is shut off.  Wondering if anyone has any ideas about where I should start troubleshooting this problem.

Spray bottle with soapy dish water.  First block the bus up so it is high enough if the air bags deflate there is still room for you underneath-so not to be crushed.  Air up the bus then get underneath and start spraying the soapy water and watch for air bubbles.  Where there are air bubbles, that's the leak!  If you don't find a leak, then a new leveling valve maybe in order. Does it have level low?   was it a seated coach?   Bob

Chad  I just replaced drivers front,drivers side rear (2 ) on my mci . the rear bubbled at the inside base plate very hard to find but when I found it could not miss the slow moving big bubbles.not that hard to replace but be safe!!!  I guess its time to replace pass. side next year ? as one mechanic told me replace both rears on the same side at the same time . if one is gone then the other one is not far behind. all three bags about $200.bucks each    hope this helps      dave

mine all drop air eventually. Just part of the fun for us. Never worried about it too much.

Just got feeling this is a entertainer or mh with level low.  Basic ck with soap is start. Would definitely do first around leveling valve and bags!!!   Can see and squirt  leveling valve from bottom in front of flap(in-front of dual )look up.    Might be able to hear leak. Prevost runs bags on special all time around $150 each depending on how many you buy. I bought 8 and was less than that.  The leveling valves aren't high dollar either but can usually be had for less local. But prevost delivers right part to door. If you have level low I will give you a link to trouble shoot that problem.    Bob

I filled each bag with a tire valve to see which bag was leaking... Turned out none of my bags it was the leveling valve.  It helped to isolate everything in the system.

Thanks so much guys!  This will surely give me a place to start.  The bus is a 45 ft entertainer.  Just picked it up and I am trying to get it back to it's glory.  I just had the outside painted and I have a few rub rails and lower metal to replace and the outside will be complete.  The inside is coming along nicely.  I will post pictures when it is done.
