Yep Clifford, mine is one of those.  My 30665 was built in Nov. '81.  Had a helluva time getting a new title.  Dumb @$# DMV insisted that it should have a long VIN.  I sent them photos of the data plate and frame stamp.  Still no dice, they made me pay to go get a State Patrol VIN inspection.  The State Patrol generated a little tamper proof stick on data sticker and put it in my left front compartment.  Guess what number they put on it?  You got it, 30665.  Go figger.

I bought both of the Long Beach Transit Eagles that were mfg. together Nov. '81.  Non restroom and only 140K total miles with new engines when I got them.  Sold the second one to Lima, MT school district.  Far as I know it's still up there.
