Do you guys know where I can buy the piece of $#!% plastic fan for a Dometic Penguin roof top AC for the condenser side

I cannot believe they would use plastic for the price they charge for the Dometic made in Mexico now only 9  days out of warranty it sucks

FWIW Camping World was no help where they get their people is a ? mark for me they are a total blank I need some help here please I cannot find anyone to sell me a fan

One dealer wanted to sell me the motor with both fans for over 200 bucks plus 10 days waiting time and $30 freight

Hi, Cliff.

I seem to remember a post about a stack of dead air conditioners at camping world. What do you think of the possibility of finding what you want in a dead unit?

It was just an idea I had.

Take care.

I guess I'm lucky I bought mine when I did-they are metal.  Looking at Camping World for old ones is a good idea-although Penguins do not break down like Colemans do.  Good luck, TomC

I think the Penguin is the only model that uses the plastic cage fans on both ends they don't come apart the plastic warps from the heat and they shake and vibrate this one was so bad it broke the shroud that was 104 dollars

Parts are a nightmare as they change every year, a 2 year old AC and dealers are telling me the fan is obsolete you need to buy the complete motor and both fans bs

Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Derrick, they don't stock it but a special order only 286.00 for a piece of plastic

I will return the 104 bucks shroud and throw the thing away before I pay that price for a blower fan never again will I buy anything made by Dometic

Try a Google search on just the part number.  I have had some great success with that trick.

I just replaced the condenser and evaporator fans.   Dometic sent metal fans, expensive though.
