Oil Filters

I wouldnt trust any oil filter for 50,000 miles...period.  I dont see any technical data to back up what you think are the best filters.  Sounds like personal preferences to me.

Mine would be Wix, Napa Gold which are the same.

Believe is or not, the fact is that the new Detroit DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines all have 50,000 mile over the road oil change intervals-by the factory.  If you're doing less then 50,000 miles a year and doing mostly regional in town driving, then the oil change is 35,000 miles.

The fact that Baldwins were coming apart before the 50,000 mile interval has nothing to do with my personal opinion.  Just stating a fact.  Good Luck, TomC
