Cool!

I see two busnut heros in the making! Gotta love the foresight and fortitude to decide these two old cruisers can be brought back to life.

I liked the way they removed the appliances and toilet.

Boy, those guys are fast!  I could save a fortune if I hire them to finish the little bit of my conversion I need to do!  In a couple of hours they would be finished :D :D ;D

Nice videos. Good to see mine aren't alone in the cleanup work needed.
They are doing well to take such a proactive approach to the maintenance.

We often say that, when you sell, you can not get out any of your labour costs out of a coach.
Somebody puts six months work [blood, sweat and tears] into a coach and the next buyer only takes two days to remove it.
Such the life of a Bus Nut.

Two days spent gutting those nasty things and doing all that work, they didnt remove anyones blood sweat and tears, they removed garbage. And no, they likely will never see a penny for their money, time and effort, no matter how nice they restore them or convert them and no matter how much money they put into them. They are dinosaurs that only mean something to a select few of us, like those aircraft along the fence, ghosts from another age.

But yeah, wow, to be young again. I thought they were doing really well, then they stepped up the pace to hyper drive. Must have had a shot of that 5 hour energy drink or something. Wonder if it works like that on us old farts.

Speaking of those aircraft, I was amazed to see that Blackbird and a few other iconic aircraft sitting there like that so close to that mickey mouse fence. One drunk with a snoot full could crash a car or truck through the fence and destroy a lot of history.

Headed to Birmingham(again--sans BUS) on business, so I will get pictures of the planes at the museum(that I didn't know existed--until I saw the video) this time.  Thanks!

Oh and if I see any busses, I'll get some of them too!

The power of video.  Here I am siting at my desk at work watching these two take on the monumental task of putting a couple of scenicruisers back on the road again.  Halfway through the second one I thought of how much I would like to be down there helping out.  And them I got a slight twinge in my bad knee.
