Bk and I would like to have a get together at his place in TEN. either on Aug. 31st - the 2nd of Sept or the next week end. Who will attend and witch week end will work for most of you that would show up. You can show up early and stay late if that works for you.

We would like to get a count so we can plan food and space whatever.

Thanks

Don

I think Bakersfield would be a better spot for a bus rally-at least my bus will be there!! (LOL) Good Luck, TomC

The wife will be on summer break then, so I would put us down as a possible at this point.  Either weekend would be okay.

All are welcome! Bring what ya got, or if yer like Bob & Gary pick yer favorite and bring it.
It will be dry camping as we don't have any places close to outlets yet.

I plan to install a 30/50 amp pole someday but hasn't happened yet and it will only be good for 1-2 outlets.

Bob, works for me.   As long as we are doing an even swap, the 89 for the 76. LOL  BK will there be a trip to Lamberts involved?  If so, we need to make sure and let Bob and Judy go this time.  We ran off and left them last time.

I'll see if I can make it.  That is right during the Minnesota State Fair and I may work at the fair again this year.  I didn't work last year after 23 straight years so the job will be offered to the person who worked last year first.  The job has changed for the worse so I'm not certain I even want the hassle.

I may just drive down in my car  depending on what fuel costs for the bus next summer.

LOL Frank if Bob was trading the '89 even for just any old bus I'd trade him a Setra for it!
And it wasn't Lambert's we ran of and left Bob & Judy for. It was the Saturday trip to the Hot Rod Shop where my friend Mark does all the fabrication and custom metal work. (we also went to Hardee's in UC for lunch too!)

It would be cool to meet you guys and check out your rides, but your dates are right when school starts and Tennessee is not close to us.

Well, it's not exactly Bakersfield, but here in Phelan, CA we are planning the 4th annual Buses Gone Wild rally ("BGW IV") over Memorial Day weekend 5/26-5/28/2012.  Here in California's high desert, the weather is typically superb at that time.  Consisting of great BBQ, show-and-tell, tall tales, and copious beer, it has previously been a primarily Crown and Gillig event, and we would like to open it up to greater participation.  Parking is ample, and I will blaze a path on the adjacent acre as headcount dictates. More details to follow as ideas evolve and the time grows near.
